I hit over 30 on the Highway. The 3800 5 speed is tuff to be MPG wise. If I got rid of the CAI and 180 Thermostate, ran my tire pressure at 37 PSi and slowed down below 75MPH I think I could beat 32 MPG. A tune setup for mileage could get 1 or 2 more.
I drive 26.5 miles non-stop turnpike and 4 miles stop and start. I check my mileage weekly. City I am not real sure of, This is a hvy car and how you driver and home many starts and stop you have is going to play a major factor. My Camaro get better Gas mileage then my Sunfire did until I get into a traffic Jam. Around town the Sunfire did a lot better. Hvy cars take more HP to get to 40 MPH but it does not take much more to keep them there. HP=Fuel

the 3800 T5 4th gens are one of the most economical sports cars ever made... love my Z, but I'd trade for an equal 3800 stick anytime. 90 mile total commute daily is why, and MD roads are too crowded to 'release the hounds' anyway..
