what kind of mpg are you getting
When I was still driving my SS, I'd average around 19 mpg in city driving, 23 on the highway. 4-speed auto, LS1, bone stock 'cept it's been lowered.
Now it sits on a consignment lot waiting for someone to buy it :/

I have a '98 which has been completely redone and I get about 17-19 city driving and about 30 on the highway.
I am kinda surprised to read some of these with the LT1 engines as I have a 1997 Corvette as well with a LT1 built to a 383 Stroker and I get on average (getting on it) 17 mpg city and up to 34MPG on the interstate. But I also had the tranny custom build with a special overdrive gear for gas mileage.

'96 base convertible, 3.8, auto, 3.08 gear. 215-60x16 @ 34psi cold. Unleaded 87 octane w/just a bit of Sea Foam left in the tank. Top up most of the time.
Mix of city & Indianapolis freeways a solid 21 - 22 mpg.
Highway run at between 70 - 85mph on a scoot between Indy & Ft Wayne (112 miles each way), 26mpg....

97 3.8 5 speed I get 31 driving round town to work and back. Get an easy 40+ on the highway and I don't baby it but at the same time I don't rug it. Can't wait till my 3 more mods are on it which are all gas mileage and power related. Should give me a few more mpg.
