What headers back system to get
its all about what you like. kooks seem to be the best fit for the 4th gen. im sure someone has copied them so you may find some knockoffs. i like corsa with my lt1 but have heard the sound is different with the ls1
I just got American Racing stainless steel headers and Y-pipe (off road=no cats) on recommendation from the tuner who worked on my car, he said they fit the best and have a lifetime warranty. (Yes they were a bit expensive at $1400 for the full set)
The car already had a GMMG chambered catback system, it's a little loud but I love the sound. Motor has LS6 heads and is cammed so she really rumbles. 398rwhp/385rwtq with stock (LS6) intake & TB.

Looks like they have gone up in price about $100 since I bought mine last Spring.
