Default vin location on chassis

Hi !
I've just bought a camaro 2000 Z28 and the register agency can't find the VIN on the chassis.
They don't accept the plate under the wind shield.
They absolutely want a number stamped on the chassis to register my car.
Do you know where I can find ?

Thank for your answer

I looked in the 2000 Service manual to see if it identified where the chassis might be marked. Other than the VIN tag on the dash, the only other mention were labels on body parts. I attached a photo of the page showing this information.
