Default Varying Idle, please help.

I've put around 500 to 600 miles on my WS6. When I bought it it would normally idle around 900. Lately, after I've been driving the car for a while, I've noticed it will begin to idle around 1200 to 1300 and then kick down if I keep the clutch in for while. When it does this it seems the dynamic of the clutch changes, sometimes it feels firmer than other times, however this may just be my imagination since I'm getting paranoid. This was my first manual I've ever driven but I took to it pretty quickly and I don't think I put the car through too much hell but I'm starting to wonder ifI've ****ed something up, any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Does it do that when it's first started, or at any given time?

Do you have anything running like an ac? Did you disconnect the battery lately? Im not sure about the camaro's pcm, but the ecu in my eclipse will run the idle like your having after the battery was unplugged. Due to the ecu using volital memory chips( chips that need power to retain mem) You could also be exp a slight over heating of what the engine's temp should be at causing it to idle higher to inc water pump flow. If you can hook up a laptop to your logger port, and see where the temp is at.

It was originally doing it after driving for a while and I haven't had any accessories on. I remembered when I had a 3100 V6 it would run strange when the throttle body got dirty. So I opened the throttle body up and sprayed the **** out of it, it was a bit dirty, and through today it's been ok. I'll just have to keep my eye on it and see if it continues or not. The battery hasn't been unplugged and as far as the gauges are concerned everything is running fine. I have a K&N air filter which I recently cleaned and I read that the oil you use to treat it can make it's way into the throttle body and injectors and cause some minor problems so I'm hoping what I did solved the problems. Thanks for the advice, any more will be appreciated in case the problem comes back.

Unfortunately the problem has come back. The trend I'm starting to notice is that it occurs after I've been in stop and go traffic for while. Any ideas? When I had my 78 Z28 I at least knew where to begin, with fuel injection I'm lost.
