10k mi update.

When I threw on the ploy trans mount, had a nasty rattle. Turned out to be the exhaust pipe, and was fixed easily.

Then we had that 30 min. monsoon here in L.A. I lost the belt tensioner while going after electronic parts. $60 tensioner and a day later back on the road.

A month ago, we had our first rain, and it puddled the industrial park where my band rehearses. I was leaving at night and didn't see them, and 10 ft from the road, water lock! The ram air mod sucked water right into the chambers. New plugs and an oil change and back on the road, running like a champ.

Washing it every other week to conserve, paint is going bad fast (chips, dents) without a garage.

Still loving it, contemplating 17" wheels, or an LSD.

A good wax job will protect the paint and make each wash job faster.

sound like a run of bad luck I used to keep mine under one of those $50.00 gazebo for the first 5 years ,but could not avoid new stratches each year ,yes wax I would wax it every 2 weeks ,an do everything possible to keep it out of the sun ,now I got one car garage the 3800 sits under the gazebo an the 95 406 ,its lucky to have a garage ,I got a good deal on metal garage ,was $5500.00 an then $4100.00,i paid $3100.00,well built too for the snow 20x18 ft ,people that don't live in snow areas there cost is a lot less, forgot to mention the wreck in the 95 an long story it will get fixed the 3800 was a donor ,I deside to get buy to get my through the mess, theres a thread on it hear somewhere ,most important its all cosmetic,an we are all living life 17inch wheels are nice bye the time you get them you want 18s with my low profiles they look like 16s,but I can put a big tire on it ,the 3800 with 235 60 16 looks the same mabey a bit taller

Awww Craby,

I drive the crap out of it, not beat it! that is people at Costco and the neighborhood kids on their skateboards doing that!

Do a good polish and wax, ok, gonna do that. Wonder if I have time before the Steve McQueen Mulholland cruise next week...

Wheels over LSD? Ok.
