Default turn signals won't work

so the title pretty much says it all

hazards work, left/right alone don't work, its not a fuse I have a suspicion its the Turn Signal/Electro-Mechanical Flasher, but I don't know where it is and don't have the time to crawl under the dash...and its raining right now.

p.s. the search wasn't working or I would have looked first

It's under the dash to the right of the steering wheel. By right, I mean passenger side. It's a little silver canister.

There is the main under dash panel that needs to be removed, but other than that it's easy. If I remember right, it is kind of hidden, as it is on top of something, but you can access it easy enough.

it was clipped onto the end of the center console, and it was yellow, so I'm guessing it was replaced at some point before, and while I was down there she had a viper, which I'm positive she knows nothing about, i was wondering what the reset button was for, now i wonder where the tuning kit for it is....
