Turn SignalProblems & Steering Issues
I'm having three problems.
1. When making a left turn signal, I have to pop the signal back after turning or I end up driving with the blinker still on. Wont do this for right hand turns.
(NO BIG DEAL)
2.Cant get my high beams to turn on. I pull the switch towards me... No clicky sound.. nothin..(Kind of a problem on dark roads)
3.It drives like a boat. Its kinda stiff when you move the wheel. It's far easier than a car with NO PS, but harder than it should be. (I'm told to just change the PS fuild)
My experience tells me that anything around the steering colum is a pain in the *** to fix.
Anyone got a simple fix for this or give me some ideas?
I don't have any fog lights... so I was wondering if I could wire up the fog lamp switch to operate my high beams.
If thats a good idea then point me at what wires I need to look for.

i would say either the belt is slipping or the steering pump is toast. the relief valve is known to fail on these pumps. the dimmer switch may be the base of the switch is moving. i had a similar problem and all it took was a zip tie around the columm to hold the base. the blinker not turning off on right turn is something i have not been able to figure out. mine does it sometimes and sometimes not.
