Do BRAKE lights work?
Do Emergency flashers work?
All above systems, and Turn Signals, use their own battery power.

check for power at the blinker switch. download factory service manual for your year here, https://www.mediafire.com/?40mfgeoe4ctti you will find wiring diagrams in it also trouble shooting.

It sounds like the turn signal circuit has no power supply. I would go to IP fuse panel and check for voltage at the #2 fuse with one lead of a test light or meter connected to a body ground and the other to both sides of the fuse holder with the ignition switch in the run position. You should have voltage to both sides. If there is voltage to only one side of the #2 fuse, the fuse is bad. If you have no voltage to either side, that would indicate the contacts in the ignition switch are bad or the orange wire is broken between the switch and the fuse. I've attached the drawings that should help tracing the circuit.
