Update...

I got he lower tab reattached to my fender, the fender has been blocked with 500. The door has been disassembled and preped (going to block sand it on the car) and I cut the parts in and they look great. I forgot to bring a camera with me when I went to get the paint work done tonight so you will have to wait till I get home tomorrow (well later today) If all goes well I will have the bumper sanded and ready to paint, the door an fender will be hung and the car will be ready for the painters to shoot. The only problem I can see is the fender and door jamb look better than any thing else on the car.

Well catch you all laters

Default Day before paint

OK guys I got the body fixed and the parts cut in. The car goes to paint tomorrow morning and I will get it back either tomorrow afternoon or Wednesday morning. The body shop that I used to work at was kind enough to take on the job for $500 cash. Here are the images of my car on the day before paint.

I am an X autobody tech so this to me took too long. Thankfully I sold a car the day before so I had the $$$ to make it happen. I was actually on my way to the bank to deposit the money when I got hit.

If we had taken my wife's Z28 we would have had full coverage and the car would have been totaled, it would have been paid off, I would have bought it back and repaired it and had no car payments. Yea it could have been worse and better at the same time.

OK she (Sarah) is back and she looks great. I have her almost all back together now I just need to paint the moldings and then put in the inner fender skirt. I didnt get a chance today to take the wheel off to get that back on but I should have enough time tomorrow. Enjoy the pics and I am glad to have this issue behind me.
