Arrow Tires for my Camaro Z28 1997

hey there i need new tires this summer I dont no what I should get, whats a good set of tires.

- my tires i have on now are 235/55/16 (there to thin)

Im looking for wider tirers that have lots of grip what would be the best fit for stock 16" rims

what do you recomend Thanks !

I think 55 is about as wide as the stock rims will handle. I am going to get a set this week but no matter what you get, they are not going to be cheap from what I am looking at. Heck, I bought a set of Firestone "cheap" tires for the 96 and it still cost me over $400. I priced a set of tires for my old Jeep Commanche and the quote was almost $800. That is about what I figure the truck is worth!

255/50 is the largest you can put on the stock rims. 245/50 is what I have on mine.

I have what Kal does, 245/50/16. I had to get all new tires because they failed inspection, so Firestone had to special order some Kumhos for me. I love the tread pattern and they're v-rated (not like I can go that fast anyway). But Kumho seems to have a pretty good reputation. I'm not sure how they are in the rain (just got them a week ago), but they seem to be pretty good on dry pavement so far.

Thanks! I'm pretty happy with them, although I was not happy with the failing inspection part...
