Have old service engine light and securitry light on for some reason. I scanned with an Autoxray EZ scan 5000 and for some reason this will not clear the light. It reads there are no current codes but has one in the history about a Mass Air Flow system failure due to the sensor plug but that has been fixed. When i scan the computer it lets me clear the code for about three seconds then comes right back on it sounds like something kicks in while it tries to clear it almost like a ringing noise coming from the motor but then comes right back on. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

 

sounds like something is going or gone. i would say find that noise ull find the problem or a path to it.
