Let's see, I got my first Camaro when I was 19 and had just joined the Navy. It was a '76 with the Saginaw 4 speed and 60's on the back. Worst car I have ever owned but taught me the most of any vehicle when it comes to doing your own repairs. I drove a Chevy Monza in highschool. For those too young to know what a Monza is Google it.

I know what the Monza is! My first Camaro was when I was 16. I had an 86 Z28. The car had low miles and was beautiful. Even though I'm a chick, My dad made me pull that engine out that was perfectly fineto make melearn to rebuild it. I was not allowed to drive my car untill I learned how to rebuild an engine and beef it up,and also I had to do tune ups on all of my dads company vehicles. It sucked! I'm 28 now and honestly now I am glad what my father made me do. I can fix my car instead of taking it to a shop that is going to rip me off.

i got my first car two years ago, for christmas. i thought it was the ugliest pos. i'm halfway through my junior year now, and now i finally got a job so i can really start working on my car. just got my motor put back in bc the thermostat locked up and my motor over heated. the cool thing is i'm the only person that has a camaro at school right now. one kid has a '81 and cracked his block. and the kid's car has been in the shop for two months.

i was 18 (senior year) when i got my 97 camaro 3800.i had edelbrock catback which made it sound like a flowmaster i wasnt the fastest one there i dont think ive seen a hooked up 91 Z28 5 speed while mine was auto. too many ricers though. it was cool till someone hit me on the parkway and it got wrecked, insurance gave me about 3k more than what it was worth and thats when i bought my LS1 [sm=badbadbad.gif]

Well i was 16 when i got my 96 camaro and it felt great pulling in the parking lot the day after i got it and seeing the looks on peoples faces. because they had no clue who it was until i got out and they freaking out left and right. and the bad thing is as soon as i got out of school that day i got my first tickett cuz i was racing a 00' mustang GT and we ran a quarter mile and i won then bam i got tagged and pulled over....lol it was worth it though.

im a HS senior now, was handed down my mom's 97 3.8 auto that she bought new. its a blast to drive. it sat for 2 years though waiting for me to take it over, so obviously ive had to replace a few dryrotted parts, but its mostly been a good experience.
