hi i was wondering is there any 16 17 year old kids with camaros and if there is none when did you guys get your frist cacaro and how did it feel driving it to high school

 

I got mine when I was 18. Unfortunitly it was in the summer after my senior year. I would have loved to drive it to High School. I drive it to college though, that is still pretty sweet. My senior year I drove a 74 chevelle though, it was a pretty Bad *** car, my dad and I had built up the engine on it and it had really loud/good sounding exhaust.

 

I got mine late in my senior year of high school. And I only had a v6 then so it wasnt much to gloat about. Now I got my lt1 and roll up to college and it sounds pretty nice. A cam and and exhaust make it sound sick lol. To bad theres no other muscle car enthusiasts to enjoy it (stupid imports)

 

Well I had a 90 Iroc in highschool (graduated last year) and it was the fastest there. (Small town in Missouri) It felt great to drive to school and know I was king of the parkin lot. Closest thing to me was a 95 V6 mustang. Now I drive a 97 SS, I drop by there every once in awhile and nothing has changed.

 

I got mine last august for the beggining of my senior year (2000 z28). It has to be the best feeling knowing that when I pull in, I'm the fastest. There's some spoiled kids with benz's and bmw's but they're to scared to race. All the $ it takes is the only downside. Betweenthe car payment, insurance, and gas, my checks are pretty much shot, lol. But boy is it fun, wouldn't trade it for anything.

 

I got my first camaro a few months after I turned 16, it was a v6 of course, I drove that all junior year and partway into my senior year when I bought a 97 z-28...It was amazing. Even in a highschool with 2k kids my car was the fastest, the previously regarded "fast" cars were a prelude with a catback and a 2g turbo eclipse.... I effin raped em right outside school one day, infront of the buses lol, even used the shoulder to go around.... Ya its pretty awesome knowing youve got the fastest and sometimes loudest car!!

 

ya im 17 right now and a junior in high school. last year a few months after iturned 16 ibought my 95 Z28 for $5000 off of craigslist. im pretty sure im the fastest car in the lot and i know how it is being the fastest in the lot . the only other competition in the lot is a 1980-1992 Mustang 5.0L with a governor. he says he would smoke my LT1 and his friend told me he was running high 15's low 16's in the 1/4 mile where my Z is running low 14's .

 

Im 17 and in college... I never got to drive mine to highschool (just got it last month)... But even though its a v6, im sure i could smoke most, if not all, of the kids at my high school (not much to brag about, its a small school lol)

 

17 and in college? Did you graduate early or are you just really young? I was buying cigarettes for the kids at my highschool before i graduated lol....

P.S. driving a cool car to college isnt as fun, there are rarely large groups of people, and parking is a PITA to find, and I was never hit in highschool....last semseter alone I got hit 4 times, 2 in the Z-28 before I sold it, once walking through a parking lot, and a hit and run while I was at a friends dorm with the Firebird.

 

i got my v6 camaro when i was a sophmore nd still 15, then when i got my license i finished the 2nd half of my sophmore year and the 1st half of my jr. year driving the v6..then sold it, nd now i have my 97 trans am, which i completely love, nd is the best thing to walk down to the parking lot nd see her waiting for me, i look forward to that everyday..nd ill be 17 coming up in a few months
