t56 slave cylinder replacement tips
if you ever have to change yours, here some tips
1. DO NOT CUT THE STRAPS HOLDING THE PUSHROD DOWN
2. DO NOT LET THE PUSH ROD FULLY EXTEND
3. do not lose the the the rubber gromet on the hydraulic line that goes into the slave i promise you that you will not find another one
to bleed it: tip the slave cylinder and fill slave up with fluid first and install line onto it, fill resevoir up leave cap off, push the push rod in as far down as you can and hold it, have some put the boot and cap back on resevoir, then release the push rod slowly, and be sure the straps do not come off, do not let it fully extend, take the cap and book back off and repeat til all the bubbles go away, after you stop seeing bubbles put the capt and boot back on resevoir and have someone lightly put pressure on clutch NOT ALL THE WAY DOWN, just slightly to make sure theres pressure. install slave back on car and slowly with your hand push the clutch pedal down and make sure theres pressure on the clutch, and when you push it down that strap will pop releasing the push rod onto the fork and your done.
** if you do not get all the air out of the system you WILL bust the slave cylinder, and make sure you do it right because there is no bleeder screw....trust me i busted 3 of them
