stuck throttle?

With the shadow, it's hard to tell if the blade is all the way closed or not. Almost looks like gappage on the lower part, but not sure.
Chaotic, do you know where the Idle Air Control bypass opening is on your tb?
It would be in the inlet of the throttle body, in front of the throttle blade. But since I don't see it down low, it must be up high.
All you gotta do is stick your finger over that opening with the engine running. If a too fast of an idle slows down to normal-ish, it's an IAC problem.

Based on where the IAC is I would say it is right at the top of the throttle plate.

I actually got sick to my stomach when I saw that throttle plate. Hopefully she needs a new PCV valve.

Now you're talking over my head! Is that motor related? Not going down that road again...

Look inside the throttle body opening, in front of that closed throttle blade. Get your head low and look up for an opening, either hole or slot.
If you cover that opening with your finger while the engine is running, what happens? Don't worry, it won't bite.

Camaro69, are you blind? The hole is visible in the picture she posted lmao. It's on the bottom half of the blade. Kinda in the middle lol.

lol....not the hole in the throttle blade. It would be in the aluminum housing of the t.b., which is a port that leads to the IAC. That's where the IAC circuit gets it's air from to adjust the idle.

When I google IAC issues it says RPM's are low and you have to rev to keep it running. This is opposite.

As the engine is running the PCV valve draws air from the bottom of the motor. This keep gases from building up in your crank case (PVC= Positive Crankcase Ventilation). To be sure the crankcase gets good clean air there is a air inlet line connected intake, the intake tube to allow filtered air to replace the air the PCV valve pull out of the crankcase. So on a new engine filtered air is pulled from the intake tube through the bottom of the motor and into the PCV valve. The bad air is sucked into the intake and consumed by the engine. On a new engine a PCV valve will pull much more air through it then the engine will release into the crankcase.

I wanted you to understand how the system is supose to work. In the later part of an engines life enough gases get past the rings (As Choatic said: blow by) instead of the intake tube pulling air in it will start blowing out. Once it start blowing out fast enough it will carry oil with it. It is a sign that the motor is worn and low on compession. If the PVC valve is not working it can make it look worse then it is.
