Default stuck hand brake?

Hi,

I just put winter tires on my Dad's camaro and when I jacked up the car, I lifted the hand brake to keep it from moving. When I finished, I put the hand brake back down and tried to back out of the garage, but it seems the hand brake is still engaged?? It shifts into gear and will move if I give it enough gas, but something is definitely holding it in place and my guess is the hand brake. Is there a way to release the hand brake if it gets stuck?

Did you take the block out from behind the rear wheel? But seriously check under the car for things you may have left there and then if nothing shows up you should be able to see the actual handbrake cable on the rear brakes. Try pulling and releasing it again if nothing happens still you may have done something incorectly when installing the wheels. If that is the case take them off and try again.(begin by lifting up each corner and trying to turn the wheel by hand, without the handbrake engaged)
