Default Hand operated throttle !!

Laugh it off guys, but worth noting.
I was peacefully driving my Camaro when suddenly the throttle gave way under my foot, nothing...and the car slowed down to a halt. It was obvious that the cable broke or slipped off.
I opened the bonnet, but all seemed ok, reached undr the dash onto the pedal and could not get anywhere. Stuck in the middle of the road, I tried increasing the slow running speed, but that did not help.
Finally I got the idea of tying the carb with a rope and driving by pulling the rope with my left hand.
Luckily the car is automatic, and it proved to be easy and fun. Though many people gave me a funny look, as in what is going on, but no one had a clue.
I almost got arrested by the army, as where I broke down was near an important politician, and they thought that perhaps I was setting the car for a suicide mission ????
See photos attached, and keep a rope handy, just in case.
Cheers.

Good stuff. That's kinda funny. You just know someone's gonna read that and want to try it.
