hey does anybody know of a ram air kit for the 4th gen stock hood? if there's not a kit could something be manufactured to use the stock slits as a ram air mod?

 

The SS's came stock with Ram air, so if you have an SS you already have it. If not, look for an SS kit and it'll hook right up.

 

right i knew the ss's came with it...but i have just the base package and i was wondering if there was anyway to make the stock lids work with a ram air kit. most likely have to be some custom made parts but i was just wondering if anyone had an idea about how to go about this...

 

hold on...you want ram air from a stock z28 hood?

 

Hmm.. Well if you do have the stock Z28 hood, the first thing you'll need is a hood with a scoop/ multiple scoops in it.

Otherwise, if you have a hood, you can get a kit that goes onto an SS

 

no mine's not a z28...it's the stock v6 hood with two eyelid slits...and i think i could make it work but like whammer said i would need some scoops...does anyone know if anybody makes scoops for the stock hood pictured below...





i found a pair once on ebay but the next time i went back they were gone so any ideas would be helpful...
