My '97 Z has that crappy AC Delco tape deck thing, I'm not much of a music listener so havn't gotten around to replacing it, nevertheless on long trips I like to have my mp3 player going. I've got one of those tape adaptor things with a aux cable on it but the stereo keeps spitting it out..

Any other cheap fixes to get sound for my long drive tomorrow? Was thinking of getting a radio transmitter but i've never had any luck with them either...

 

upgrade, stereo is not that expensive, ask for one from santa. crutchfield has some good deals to look at and compare.
