Starter Issue!
My 97' V6 Camaro won't quite kick over to start... (Not a battery problem)
Is there any advice to get it up and going long enough to drive to the nearest shop for further diagnosis?
Thanks you all!!

So youve verified the battery has 12volts or close to it? Have you had the battery load tested? In that case look at all the battery connections including at the starter. Try to include a little more information also. what happens when the key is turned? What type of noises does it make while youre trying to start it? Theres alot that comes into play at the moment you turn the key...

Have not run full battery checks, could further test at the shop. The car produces a normal revving sound just doesn't ignite the engine. Considering spark plugs to a fuel pump, just hoping for a way to get it going to take for diagnosis/repair.
Any more advice, much appreciated!

Is the SES lamp on?
Could be a multitude of reasons. But one thing to try is to use flood-mode starting, in case the engine is flooding with fuel due to a defective engine temperature sensor. Hold the accelerator pedal to the floor while trying to start for several seconds. If it starts, have the sensor checked. (It is a different section of the sensor than the one for the gauge.)

You are saying the starter cranks fine the motor just does not start some times? If so the most common issue would be the fuel pump. You want to cycle the key one and check to see if someone can hear the pump turn on. In the most common cases you can turn the key on 3 or 4 times and not hear the pump turn on. On the 5th-10th try you hear the pump turn on, then the car will start.
I am not saying that is what is wrong with your car just the most common issue if I am understanding your post.

Remove the intake tube from the throttle body, open the butterfly, squirt some starting fluid into the throttle body, try to start the engine. If the engine runs for a moment, you have a fuel supply issue. This is the easiest way to determine whether it's a fuel or electrical/ignition problem.
