Default Stalled build?

I have a 35th anniv. SS camaro limited edition, yeah ,red with silver checker flag stripes. It's the t top, automatic package. I'm trying to pick a good stall for the mods i've made.My main concerns are driveability, but I want to also be able to spank my buddy's hopped up Gran National when he starts talking smack! Here's my mods, GM Ls1 Hot CAM power range 2200-6500, SLP flo-pac, Hedman Torque step longtubes,Loudmouth cat back,85mm Maf, 85mm throttlebody. Trans-go shiftkit ,2nd gear servo, 3.73 gear. All pulled together with a Diablo Predator II. I got suspension mods too...in short,it hauls *** but I'm missing that critical link! My friends are Junkstang owners so they don't understand power without NOS in a sentence. Any ideas on stall speed and brand would be helpful. Vigilante is awesome but they want a mortgage payment for their product! So WHAT'S UP?

alot of guys go with yank stalls around here. seem to be a pretty good piece.

2800 or so shouldnt be too high for a street car, and with your smaller cam. maybe even 2500rpm, but im no expert on this, ive only driven manuals in any sports car. dont know much about the auto

for some reason, i was thinking ls1's like bigger stalls than the lt1. i have a yank 3600 in my car and absolutely love it. it really isn't much different than stock. i think it'd be a good choice for your car as well

i thought stocks were around 1500, but then again, i could be wrong lol.
its all subjective though, whammer, while u may like 3600, i know some people will hate a stall like that. honestly, i have a big cam and now a new HD clutch, and I would say its pretty much like driving stock. my dad, though, *****es and moans the few times i let him drive it lol

another good brand is yank...but the thing about a TC is that they're going to be expensive. just comes with the territory. that was a good point you made spec. on the OP's car, i'd say anything from a 2800-3200 would be a good choice for ya

If you pay less than $700-800 for a stall (new) for an LS1 you are waisting your time and money. Stalls are not a place to cheap out on. Yank, Fuddle, Vigalante are all good brands. Call the company and tell them what mods you have and they can help you pick a stall. Most people go too small IMO, I run a 4000 Yank SS, and it is 100% fine on the street. You WILL NEED drag radials with a stall.
