i can drive my camaro for ten minutes then it misfires, backfires then stalks out. wont start after that. I can wait two hours then repeat. just put in a new crank sensor two days ago, but drove for a couple days with no problems so any ideas???

 

Do you have good fuel pressure? How old is the fuel filter?

 

replaced the feul filter about 3 months ago. not seeing any fuel leaks. Would a dirty or clogged intake be the problem?

fuel injectors? Sounds like a fuel issue. Friend has a 94 mustang 3.8L v6 and it had a bad fuel pump, would start and run for a couple mins give it any gas and it would backfire thru the intake and then shutter and stall. Changed the fuel pump, fuel filter and the air filter (it was dirty as sin) and it runs fine. check your fuel pressure.

 

you know multi port fuel injection it sprays gas in the cylinder making the gas more combustible like more bang for the buck but if they get clogged then the gas wont spray out as much/well.
