ss hood and spoiler

Default ss hood and spoiler

i put an aftermarket ss hood on my 95 Z28 but there is about a 1/2 inch gap from the nose to the hood and the hood wont slide forward any more has anybody else had this problem or do i need to change the himges and i also put a after market ss spoiler on it and now the a.b.s. inop light is on help thnks you can e-mail me at jjones_321@charter.net i also hve 2 lft fenders spoiler and hood for sale i live near knoxville tn

which hood did you get....I am also looking into installing an SS hood.

I also put an aftermarket SS hood on my 97. Got it off of ebay as well. If the hood wont slide forward any more, you may have to drill new holes for the hinges to give you more range of movement. I had to on mine, and you may have to on any aftermarket fiberglass hood in order to get a proper fit.

The ABS INOP light is due to your third brake light differences between the two spoilers. Check the General Tech section, there's a thread where someone had the exact same problem.
