Squeeking from front end while turning slow or over bumps.
I picked up an 01 z28 and noticed a few days after I got it that there was an odd squeeking/rubbing noise coming from the front end. SOMETIMES when you turn slowly you can hear it and when you go over bumps you can hear it squeek/rub. Any ideas of what exactly would be causing this? Engine is fine, alignment is slightly off.
see if it happens a lot more than you notice, like while idleing, driving, or when the AC is on etc, it could be the belt.
and its not your brakes?

The belt and entire engine is mint. It idles fine, doenst make noise when AC is on. Its just when turning the steering wheel when im pulling into a driveway/parking lot, and when i got over bumps you hear a squeek. Not bad but it's just something i shouldnt be hearing. its coming from either the steering or suspension i just can't pinpoint it. Brakes sound fine at any speed.
Check your sway bar end-links. See if the bushings are worn out or not. If they're shot replace them. You can also give it a blast of penetrating oil between the link bushings and the bar, and at the frame mounts too. I like PB Blaster better, WD-40 doesn't last as long. Sometimes rubber on steel can squeak as the bar tweaks.
