Default Spun bearing i think?

Didnt sound good 3.4 took valve covers off no luck there.

bummer, good used 3.4 are not easy to find with low miles, pretty much not. depending on where your at the cost to rebuild is most likely going to be more than cost of another camaro.

You are talking about a used 23+ year old engine that as never considered great to start with. Buying a used engine without someone who knows what they are doing going through it will be a roll of dice, with the odds against you.

like said, odds of finding one that will not need a rebuild is slim to none. 3.4 has not been used in over 20 years so makes it tough. wont hurt to look just dont get your hopes up and be very cautious if you do find a deal that looks good.

Expect $3500 minimum on a installed remanufactured engine. Now go look prices of running cars.

If you still want a 4th gen Camaro I would suggest anything that old be taken to a trusted mechanic for a complete review and a coolant pressure test before buying. These cars are old and even the dependable 3800 or the awesome LS1 can be near death is abused or not maintained.
