im replaceing the head unit and the speakers

you should be able to get an adapter to wire the new unit to so it will plug right into the stock harness. my first camaro had the base stereo so i didnt have to run any wires. didnt have a amp. this one i wired all the speakers, they are all amped. i did order from crutchfield, get everything to hook up so figured if they gave me the wrong stuff they would have to take it back. come to find out if i dont like it they took it back, did with the amp anways, so long as its within a certain time, 2 weeks i think it was. i went through three amps before i got the setup i liked.

can i wire the speakers directly to the after market head unit? and wire everything else up like normal?

yes thats what i did. sorry got into a movie. lol. unless you want to spend money on stuff to convert thats the way to go. stock bose amps arent very good so invest in amps if you want more. lol. ive got one for the base and one for the stereo.

ok i got the drivers door done today now i just gotta do the pass door and the sail panels so now i need some advice on how to run the wires the drivers door was a pain but the pass looks harder and so does the sail panels
