Default Speaker Wiring Help

I have a 98 Z28. I was going to change the front speakers out and put in components. When I took the speaker out it has 4 wires going to it. 2 red and 2 black. And a plug that went into the red and black wires with a blue, yellow, black and lt green. I need to know if it will matter which i use for input or can I use any of them?

Thanks

I found that same page before. It didn't help. Said wires are gray and tan. I don't have any that color and have 4 not 2.

Do you have the factory monsoon system? If so it's wired for 4 ohm speakers. Could always pull the head unit and do a continuity test between wires to figure out what you're working with.

It has an aftermarket radio. Not sure what it had before.
