Default speaker problem

i have a 99 camaro v6 5 speed and the other day i noticed the back speakers in the trunk area all the way back were not hooked up. Does anyone know why the wouldn't be. Also i want to hook them up but the connector is different. the speaker has two wires and the side coming out the harness has 4 wires. any help so i can hook them up would be great.

how many speakers are hooked up now. if you have 6 it may be the po had a amp hooked up and took it out and it left two speakers without a hookup at the headunit.

ok i take it you had 6 speakers stock. so in order to run 6 your gona need an amp. in the stock setup the back 2 speakers are for base and have a amp for them. you may wish to do it that way. or could get amp that has outlets for 4 speakers so you can run the back 4 speakers from it.
