when i was installing after market speakers in the back. I get the stock speakers out and to my supprise its 4 wires instead of 2. i tried 2 then the other 2 and i even tried combinding them together. and they still dont work. how to get it to work properly? do i need to get some kind of harness?

hmmm the only thing i can think of is that the speakers are amplified. does your car have the monsoon or bose system in it? if it does ull need to bipass the amp to get the speakers working. however it could also just be that the speaker wire is grounding out somewhere in the car. in that case, rewiring the back speakers might be necessary.
