If I am up-grading to high performance spark plugs will I need a High performance wiring set or will the stock one be ok?

You don't need new wires. It's nice and probably recommended to go ahead and get new wires, but not a necessity.

It depends. I just had my plugs and wires changed yesterday. They were the original wires and plugs and had 100k miles on them. The wires were in bad shape with splits in the wires that were causing weak ignition, said the mechanic. So check the wires before you change them because they're fine if they're in good shape.
