Default i have some questions

okie dokie, well i just posted in the o/t about my new ls1 so i have some ?'s
basically i just bought a ls1 block with a crank and main caps and a set of clevite H series rod bearings, the block has just been machined and bored .30 over and i know a guy with some ls2 ported heads from lingenfelter i might get
well first thing. will the ls1 bolt up to the t56 i have now, or are the t56's in the lt's and ls's different?
i plan on having forged internals ready for a s/c later on down the road, any suggestions on brands and where to buy.
and also any other suggestions or help will be greatful.

the t56 isnt your problem. I think you may need the 98+ front clip or the motor wont fit or something goofy like that....

Before Import bites our heads off...

You can fit the motor under the hood, but you need to run the LT1 style intake. If you want to run the regular LS1 'Lid' style intake you need to tilt the radiator back. The T56 you have now won't bolt up directly, it has a different bell housing and a different input shaft.
