Like the title says, I took the BCM out and reflowed the 5 points shown in the sticky and I still have the same symptoms, interior lights flicker when cold, when those get done flickering, then I put in the key and turn to on, then the seat belt chime/light flicker for a while, then if I put on the seat belt and try to start it then I get the security light on the dash and nothing else. Not sure what to do now, any suggestions? Thanks in advance and I can post pics if needed.
EDIT: And at the end of the year last year the radio started cutting out too, another tell-tale sign of a failing BCM.

 

get the magnifing glass out and look the bcm over again for any cracks. might consider a redo an hope it didnt connect right.

 

Alright 3 tries later still no dice. Is it stealership time? :/ is there anything else to try as a last ditch or should I just bite the bullet and get one?

 

nothing comes to mind. maybe one of the other guys has a light bulb go on over em.

 

Alright so I've tried 4 times now, including reflowing everything this last time, with still no favorable results. Could I just drop in a new bcm, ordered from gmpartsdirect or is it not that simple? I know these are specific to the cars specific options, but they only have it with or without keyless entry, 2 options total for my year. I know I will have to do the key learn procedure, but I think I can handle that, but is it a simple drop in, plug and play? I apologize, as this information is probably out there, but I can't seem to find it. Thanks for any input all.
