Silly question - Z28 spare tire

My spare tire (donut) failed when I needed it today. It can't be repaired, and I am told a new one will run $300. The tech suggested that I find a used one. Are these generic and model-agnostic, or is there something specific I should be seeking?

Should be a few bucks from the junkyard. Most GM 5-lug cars from the same period are probably the same.
