Default 94 z28, engine removal

Hello, I just picked up a 94 z28 camaro. The engine is in need of rebuilding so I am curious how to remove it(my first 4th gen). I have been told that i should be removing it from the bottom? If so how? Thanks for any help you can give!

Removing the V8 from the bottom is the factory approved way and IMO the easiest way.
