I have a 1994 Z28 and the Service engine soon light comes on shortly after I begin to drive. As soon asI stop at a stoplight for several seconds it shuts off but as soon asI begin to accelerate it turns on immediatly. I tried to have it scanned at Autozone and that didn't work, does anybody have any suggestions. Thanks for your help.

 

cause its an obd 1 and auto zone only has obd 2 [&:]............
go to somewhere that handels obd1 and scan it.

 

I new that but they told me to come in and try so.......

 

So no one has any idea why my SES light comes on but goes off when i'm at a stoplight and then comes back on when i accel again. If not does any one have an idea on how much it cost to get your car scanned at a shop.

 

i have seen anywhere between $50-85. Just depends on the shop
