Could the stock security system on a 97 RS cause the cars entire electric system to die when I turn the key past acc while either the drivers or passenger door is open. Im about ready to remove the security system but I wanted to see if anyone on here has had a similar problem before I do that.

 

You might remove cables and wire brush the bejesus of cable terminal and battery terminal first.
