Ok so I have a 98 Z28 and I have a Prestige Platinum Aps 997alarm system by Audiovox, on it that was professionally installed over a year ago. Now nothing has gone wrong with this system at all over the past year until last week out of the blue. I drove it to work parked it set the alarm and when I went to go home I unlocked the car, the system let me in and disabled the system I can turn on the key and all my accessories and sound system will come on. The only problem is that when I go to turn the Key to start the car the SECURITY light on the dash stays on and the car won't start the light won't go off even when I take the key out. My initial guess is that the Kill Switch is not disengaging for some reason, if anyone could tell me of a way to bypass or overide this or what I need to do to fix this it would be greatly greatly appreciated. -Scott
