If you think about it though, them moment you pull the brake booster hose, chances are your car begins to idle any where from 1200-1500 rpms. The problem I see with holding it at 2k is as it's being poured in, it's automatically being burned up and shot out the exhaust, minimizing its actual effects where else pouring in at the lower rpm allows most to settle in the heads and intake to heat soak. Also, running it at 2k is gonna make less than educated people think they can pour more in faster and then problems develop.

If that's how you like to do, I'm not one to stop you. But what I've supplied the OP is straight from Sea Foams website and what I and many others have followed. To each their own.

It's simple.

Let the brake booster line suck half of the can slowly. Shut the engine off, wait 20 mins for it to break up the carbon. Start it up and drive hard until the smoke is gone.

Pour the remaining seafoam in your oil and another can into your fuel tank making sure you are full of fuel.

Replace the oil and filter within 100 miles and your good to go. I do this on all my vehicles.

No helper necessary.
