Default Replacing LSD Clutches

Hey guys. I recently bought an LSD rear end out of a 1996 6-speed z28. At this point if I brake stand the car, only one wheels spins. I put it on jack stands today and if I spin one tire by hand, the other spins in the same direction while the car is in gear. I put limited slip fluid in it when I bought it. Do I need new clutches? Or???
Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Also note that when I first bought the read end I could spin both tires when I brake stood the car. Now it's a single tire fire

if its cone clutches then they can be rebuilt but only by the factory. and the factory will only rebuild units that are four years old or less.

You didn't use synthetic gear oil in the rearend did you? And the additive prevents the clutches from gumming up and making the rearend go clunk-clunk-clunk in the turns. It's not a friction enhancer.

I added the additive and it didn't help. Anyone have any advice?

sounds like the center section might just be worn out, time to buy a new center, they aren't too bad
