The 3800 is essentually the same from 96-2009 Series II and III. They both produce 200HP and they both have the same compression and cam profiles. There are differences in the 96 and 98 computer and that mainly has to do with the transmission. If the car is a 98 then use the 98 computer if the car is a 96 then use the 96 computer. The computer for 99-02 is different from the computer for 97-98 and the computer used in 95-96.
