Just bought a new fob for my 96 Camaro, here is the instructions.
1. Pull out radio fuse.
2. Turn key to Run 3 times, Stop third turn on Run. (Run Not Start)
3. Push remote buttons Lock & Unlock untill your car`s locks engage.
4. Put Radio fuse back in.
This worked for my 96, hope it works for you.
