Keyless Entry Remote

I have the factory keyless entry remote, and after I pop the trunk or unlock the doors then close them, it will automatically lock without me pressing anything. Is this just the battery in the remote dying?

so if all the doors are unlocked and you close one they all lock with out pushing any buttons?

Yes, after a few seconds it will lock itself.
