AIR resurculates your exhaust from the exhaust manifold into your intake kinda like a mini turbo

mini turbo? no exhaust gasses enter your intake in a turbo, the exhuast flow is the means by which the turbo is spooled...

and what you are describing is the exhaust gas recycler (EGR). the EGR has a pipe coming off the manifold (pass side in the ls1), has a valve, and a pipe going into the intake manifold. the air however is not attached to the intake anywhere, it has a fan that sits under the drivers side fenderwell, and little tubes that go to each exhaust manifold. I believe all it does is adds a little fresh air to the exhaust.... not sure why, maybe it a little unused oxygen helps the catalytic cycle or something....

i actually saw that website earlier specter and thats the one i didnt understand haha
but when u summarized it it made more sense.
and that is seriously one of the dumbest things ive ever heard though.

I don't have cat, AIR, EGR or any emissions stuff on my car and it passes emissions
