Default Rear/ Tail lights Cover removal

Hi All,

I've just got some 93 rear lights (look nicer than amber 99 ones) and they have some dirt and mould in (off a scrap car) and i want to get inside to clean them, Is there any way to split the cover off and get inside to clean them???

CLR works wonders. Mix it with a bit of water, and let it go to work.

Home Depot sells the stuff, btw.

I have never been able to seperate the halves of modern taillights with out breaking stuff. I would just try as suggested above with CLR or bleach and a bottle brush.

Not sure if you can get CLR where you live but if you can that will prolly be the best.

hahah dont know what it is, ill check on google.

I was a bit annoyed actually, paid $160 ish (after conversion) for the pair, but the someone had also tried to pry off the faces and they are cracked at each side on the clear bit. SO gotta sort that and then seal them somehow after cleaning. Im going to machine another buld hole too cause I have a reverse light I need to fit
