oh and oil level in the rearend should be even with the fill hole on the side of the center section. do check your brakes, 69 knows what he is talking about. even though he likes to give me a hard time its all good.

 

I had the same problem. Although the control arm bushings were still there and tight, the rubber had came unbonded from the outer shell of the bushing allowing the arm to move without the rubber flexing resulting in squeaks and groans.
