I had the panel off under the steering column and this wire was just hanging there to the right connected to nothing. Any idea what it's for? Just curious really. It's a 95 3.4l

 

It looks like it should be for your rear defroster.

 

yup it is for a rear defroster. If you had one in the car it would be plugged into the switch if you didnt it just hung out. Now if you ever want to add the defrost to the car all the wiring is there from the dash to the roof near the rear dome light.
