I was looking at a Firebird. Well my car wont sell for what I need out of it now because I messed up the door pretty badly. There's a video of the damage in the thread entitled "Door Skin Removal"

I played 4 years of Varisty, and two years of Div. I college ball. When it's cold, my knees sound like a rusty door hinge, so I hear ya! Also have screws in my right radius and my jaw. Got a couple of fingers that don't point the right way. That's why I only played 2 years in college, got too beat up. The older you get the worse it gets, I'm 53, so I agree about sometimes feeling older than you really are. Remeber "No pain, no gain" bunch of "bravo sierra". But, I wouldn't trade the memories for anything! Except maybe new knees! Anyway, you really need to go get that chest and sitting thing looked at, it doesn't matter that you've waited, still part of the accident and they have to cover it. Tell them you may have been in shock, happens all the time. Don't settle for less than what it will cost to replace the car, they have to pay you that, no question.

What piece are you looking for? Might have it.

Wow BC, are car prices by you inflated by that much? There is a 95 Z28 "Vert" in my area, with 94k miles, asking price of $6,495. Darn nice looking car, and it's green too. That car will sell for less than $6k, which would make a v6 car like yours with more miles worth less than $4k here.
And keep in mind that "askin ain't gettin". A seller could ask $15k for that car if he was off the wall, but that doesn't make it worth that. Same as the ones you're finding for sale by you. What the car sells for is what determines it's worth, not what they're asking. And those are still for sale for a reason....it's not the right price.

69 is right, "askin aint gettin", don't be shy, offer what you think they will take less about 15%-20% , especially if they have been on the market for a while. You've had guys lowball you on Ashley, take the same approach. I bought my Z for less than half the asking price, just by waiting the guy out. I missed a couple, but I didn't loose any sleep over it. I'm going to look at a '69 RS/SS this weekend that's been in a garage for about 20 years, guys asking 20k, but he's been asking 20k for about a year. We''ll see...

very true, got my 79 for 3200, the guy was asking 4900, and got my truck for 3300 when the guy was asking 4500, money talks, especially a big ol stack of 20s =] some people like benjamins but 20s make the stack look bigger
