To everyone saying true duals on a 3.4 is overkill, yeah performance wise, but it's literally the only way to make the tone right. Smile-inducing sound is sometimes worth the money.

Where's the fun in that?

Sweet! Nothing like saving $200!

Question

I could say the same thing about the Borla Adjustable cat-back on my 3.8L, and assume somewhat similar results on the 3.4L -- anyone tried it?

And I bet it has crackle and rasp at anything above 3000rpm, right?

These cars can sound pretty beefy, just have to do it right, and it always points to doing true dual exhaust, example:

V6 Camaro Exhaust vid - YouTube

"1998 V6 Camaro. The exhaust setup is pacesetter headers, custom 2.5" H pipe, 3" Borla XR-1 mufflers dumped at the axle. In this vid, the engine is being revved all the way to redline (6000rpm)."

Dear lord, I'd pay $900 washingtons for that, hell, your driving it! Hang fuzzy dice from the mirror if it makes you feel better.

...annnnd I'm up past my bed time... curse you all.

I've watched that video about 1000 times. It's the most sexy sounding v6 I've ever heard. Those mufflers are $270 a piece tho

I'll ask you again Liberty, if you like your exhaust so much and say it has no rasp POST A VIDEO of it so we can hear for ourselves. Even if it is that great, it still costs almost as much as those true dual setups you posted.

I'm looking forward to seeing (and hearing) the results Chaotic.
