Default Putting oil in.

Tired of spilling trans. fluid all over. Well just drill the cap and put in a tube just a little larger the the hole in. I used this ideal on a gallon jug of trans. fluid.
Then I used a differential oil jug cap with a tube stuffed in for putting oil in the car.

They also make a thing called a FUNNEL. Works better and not as complicated. But both will do.

Lol... a funnel, I have a few of those. Faster to fill and less hassle.

I believe he may be talking about a manual trans filling and a funnel doesn't quite fit.
Good idea on the tube then you can turn the bottle over and squeeze the oil into the trans.
Old school was hanging the bottle upside down from the inside rear view mirror, place hose into side of trans, then punch a hole in the bottom of the bottle and let gravity take over.

That ain't oil, but maybe that's what he meant, maybe not? Most of the trans/axle "oil" bottles have a tapered tip cap. With those I do use an extension hose.

Most auto parts stores carry $10 pumps made to pump oil into hard to reach spots such as manual trans and diffs. Not saying it's the cheapest option, but I've never had any issues using them before....Though I like his idea if you were in a pinch.
